Serious Behavior Series #2 is the result of two months of work at the Atelier Matador Kantine, in which the process of collective creation was explored towards multiple directions. As we got to the moment of "decision making" we've perceived that our work is not so much about the search of one conclusion, but mostly on how ideas flow into other ideas.
This installation is a non conclusive stage of our experiments on subjects such as misunderstandings, contrasting meanings, fragility, multiplicity of significance, reading reality as a constant movement of different layers; in an exhaustive process of senselessness and absurdity.
We don't practice leisure anymore, we build a useless place.
A place which doesn't reveal itself completely, that is conducted by an absurd secrecy.
In a hazardous place which debates itself with its own inefficiency, we spare you from foolishness, in case you stumble .
Piso is a collective which works together since 2006, exploring transdisciplinar collaborative processes and methods. Our meetings usually take place on the countryside in the summer, during short periods of time, under the name of Residence [ ]. Currently, Piso is working on the Avalanche/Lawine Project, networking between Porto and Berlin.
