Artist talk with Onno Poiesz and Volker Morawe
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Onno Poiesz descibes his work in his own words: "To make my ideas three-dimensional, I try to use the experience and the effects of sampling of already existing forms. The result is the origin of a modern mythical world, sometimes for the place that it’s in, and sometimes referring to the zap-culture."

Pop-cultural products are the base of the works of the artist group //////////fur//// (Volker Morawe, Tilmann Reiff and Roman Kirschner) from Cologne. For them "//////////fur//// stands for the re-staging of computer-entertainment based on multi-sensory interfaces". They became well known with their work Painstation. This installation is based on the classic game PONG. The looser will be burnt, electrocuted or only whipped. No, it's not that lethal but "The laugh is always on the loser." Volker Morawe will present more works and the ideas behind.
