Based in Brooklyn, New York, sound art-i-vist, socio-environment composer, and a core member of SHARE (http://share.dj),
Keiko Uenishi (o.blaat) is known for her works formed through experiments in restructuring and analyzing one's relationship with sounds in sociological, cultural, and/or psychological environments.
Her talk at General Public will evolve around two key questions:
• What 'aural perceptions' may affect/effect our senses of grasping space/environment?
• When would the 'aural space' become political? - in the case of New York City.
