The images for the video installation "Graw Böckler´s Knot" have been shot in Bucarest, Warsaw and Berlin - citys where the intercultural experiment "The Knot" took place during spring, summer and autumn 2010.
Ursula Böckler and Georg Graw thematize their personal "knot". Fire, smoke, explosions and damages create a counterbalance to the even-minded perception of urban spaces. Still the routines of everyday life remain untroubled despite the fact of multiple threats from violence or destruction.
The sound is by Axel Willner (Black Fog, The Field). The video is by Graw Böckler (Raum für Projektion).
